Senior Full Stack Engineer
Broad engineering ownership of roli.com, connecting product discovery, purchase, and onboarding on a unified multi-region platform.
- Merged two storefronts into a full-stack, multi-region application using TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Built Node.js, Express, and MongoDB APIs for self-service order history, reducing support tickets for order lookups.
- Integrated Shopify, Stripe, Klarna, and PayPal, including the data access layer and error handling for payment flows.
- Led the Japanese market rollout with edge-based location detection, localised checkout, and controls for APPI and COPPA requirements.
- Delivered multi-step onboarding for the CASIO partnership and improved loading performance, inventory updates, and cart state management.
- Reduced Cypress end-to-end test duration by 80% through CI/CD parallelisation and resolved indexing and crawling issues from technical SEO audits.
- Built agent-assisted tools for sprint tickets, account provisioning, and pull requests, and lead a collaborative AI workshop for developers.

Built HAWK from the ground up, giving retailers a central view of point-of-sale systems. Led and mentored four engineers across frontend, backend, and deployment.
- Took HAWK from an initial idea to production, working directly with senior leadership, enterprise clients, and product managers.
- Built operational dashboards with React and Next.js, backed by Node.js services and InfluxDB telemetry.
- Delivered REST APIs with session-token authentication, OpenAPI documentation, and tuned InfluxDB and SQL queries.
- Managed four engineers, sprint planning, retrospectives, code reviews, and staging and production deployments.
- Configured distributed-server alerts using Kapacitor and PowerShell to detect failures before customer outages.
- Worked with principal architects on high availability and automated cloud deployment using AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, and Nginx.
